Below is a link to the HCSatHome Choice Board. A copy was previously sent home, but we understand that some copies may not have made it home or might have been misplaced.
Students are required to select one activity per subject area each day during HCSatHome. Please submit completed work electronically or directly to your teacher within THREE (3) days of an HCSatHome day. Teachers will be available via email or ParentSquare to answer any questions.

Our KYA students had an outstanding showing at the Kentucky Youth Assembly!
Two of their three bills passed, and our delegates brought home multiple honors.

Kennedy Beshear was selected to serve as a Committee Chair and had the opportunity to chair the House of Representatives.
-
Ally Kong, Maddie Jones, Sadie Pearson, and Kennedy Coke were all recognized as Outstanding Speakers.
-
Ellen Eveland was named Outstanding Delegate.
- The bill sponsored by Easton Philips, Kipten Wood, and Carson Fowler passed both houses and was recognized as one of the highest-ranking bills at the conference.
-
Jaxon Vincent and Sam Okunmuyide also received recognition for having one of the highest-ranking bills.
- The bill presented by Kennedy Coke and Sadie Pearson passed both houses as well.
- Our entire delegation earned the prestigious Premier Delegation Award.
We are incredibly proud of all our students for their hard work, leadership, and commitment to civic engagement!

The Amazing Shake sign-ups begin next week!
We’re excited to bring back this incredible program for our students. The Amazing Shake teaches professional skills such as handshakes, interviews, communication, and confidence under pressure. Sign-ups will open next week, and the first 100 students to submit the required Parent Square forms will secure a spot. A parent letter and permission slip will be sent out through Parent Square with full details, dates, and expectations.

Open Gym Dates:
JMMS Volleyball will host 2 open gym dates before tryouts begin. Any girl who is currently enrolled at JMMS and interested in playing Volleyball this school year may attend the open gym sessions. No students will be permitted to take part in open gym or tryouts without providing Coach Lee with a copy of their sports physical.
Open gym Dates: December 5 and December 12 from 5:30-7:30 PM
Tryout Dates:
December 17th from 3-5:30
December 18th from 5:30-7:30
December 19th from 5:30-7:30
Any girl interested in trying out for the volleyball team will need to turn in a copy of their active sports physical to Coach Lee upon arrival to tryouts. Students who don't turn a physical in to Coach Lee will not be allowed to try out. Girls will need to wear tennis shoes and athletic wear to tryouts.

7th grade and up, Monday, December 15th at 3:30pm, at the Glema Mahr Center. Students should bring a 30 second memorized monologue, and 30 second a Capella song choice, also memorized. Contact Mr. Liam Coursey if you have any questions. |
