JMMS Beta Club:  Beta Club students will need a total of 16 service hours this year.  If you  have an opportunity to complete them early, please try to do so.  8th graders: Please check with Mr. Powers about an upcoming opportunity for you to serve at the Heroes Run.

JMMS BUTTON/HOUSE T SHIRT ORDERS:  An order form was sent out this week for Button Orders and House T-shirts.  We would like for all students to purchase a $5.00 House T-shirt; please complete the order form and return by September 6th.  The Order Form will be at the end of the newsletter.  

JMMS PATRIOT FOOTBALL:  Our Patriot Football Team will be in action against Webster Co on Thursday evening.  The games will be at Webster Co High School.  To keep up with our football team please go to our website listed above and click on the Student Life tab to find information about our team.  

JMMS GIRLS BASKETBALL  There will be an additional tryout next Wednesday, September 4th from 4-6 PM for any girl interested in trying out for the basketball team.  This tryout is for students who may have missed last week's tryout dates due to not having a sports physical.  

Picture Day:  Picture Day is coming soon! (Thursday, September 5th)  Your student should have come home with the form last week.  You can pre-order at mylifetouch.com using the code EVT8DHKJC.

 MAP Testing:  MAP Testing for Reading and Math will take place September 3rd through September 6th.
